The first day of the ILIZAROV READINGS 2019 started with the plenary session dedicated to the 50-th anniversary of the septic orthopedic service of the Ilizarov Center.

Over 150 participants from different regions of Russian Federation and abroad took part in 4 specific sessions, 2 satellite symposiums and a round-table of the day scientific program. Different modes of work were dedicated to experimental studies, errors and complications in trauma and orthopedics, rare diseases, hip joint replacement pitfalls and other important issues.
